The perspicacious watchmaker Michel Navas has a horological CV to admire. With experience at Audemars Piguet, Gérald Genta, Patek Philippe (where legend has it, in the span of a year, Navas could whip up 17 minute repeater chiming watches – the ne plus ultra of watchmaking complications. Most can just about manage one). But as master watchmaker at La Fabrique du Temps, Louis Vuitton’s high watchmaking arm, it seems that Navas has truly hit his stride.
