For as long as I can remember, I have been surrounded by dynamic, stylish, brilliant women. I think a lot of this can be traced back to a brave and gutsy past. As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “Well-behaved women rarely make history”. So, I wanted to gather some ladies who have always inspired me, and ask them to share tales from their early lives as they danced through their teenage years and twenties. For now, I’ve narrowed this down to my mother, Marie Chantal of Greece; one of the fashion industry’s most in-demand stylists, Elizabeth Saltzman; and former American Vogue editor and iconic New Yorker, Lauren Santo Domingo. I asked them to talk me through the experiences, tastes, places, choices and stories that shaped their budding years of adolescence.
