The gender pay gap is not new. In the UK, the disparity remains, currently sitting at 13.1 per cent. You know it’s there, you know it’s a problem, but how is it impacting you directly and how can you represent yourself effectively? How do you value, negotiate and represent yourself? I have fought hard for myself in the past, and have still been paid less than what I rightfully deserved. My most recent career experience required me to quit my job, before I was offered what I knew was justified. It was too late for me, and that only makes me more passionate about ensuring you are not in the same situation.
