Through the looking glass

Transparent watches have been trending for some time, and it’s clear – pun entirely intended – to see why. Futuristic but laid-back and playful, they often make for serious horological feats. Leave it to Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille, though, to up the ante on the craze for sapphire watches, with this ultra-cool new RM 75-01 Flying Tourbillon Sapphire, which is as much aesthetic revelation as it is engineering wonder.
