I like my walks simple, I like them close to home and I particularly like them alone. This homo sapiens’ upright skill of putting one foot in front of another, this nomadic principle – the practicality of it! We still get to use our hands with opposable thumbs! There’s an insinuation, and even movements, dedicated to the idea that walking can be something more profound, even spiritual. In other words, walking as geriatric perambulation has a new-gen geeky glamour to it.
