Growing up on England’s south coast, the sea was always going to be part of the backdrop to my life. The steady rhythm of the waves, the fresh salty air, and the open horizon were constants – something I took for granted. It wasn’t until I moved to the city at 18 that I truly realised how much the ocean had shaped my sense of calm and well-being.
